The Challenge
- Patients needed guidance for health concerns outside clinic hours without overloading staff.
- Symptom triage had to be helpful while responsibly routing serious cases to humans.

Our Solution
- Built a Next.js patient interface backed by a Node.js service using OpenAI for conversational triage.
- Designed triage flows that answer common queries and escalate to care pathways when appropriate.
- Integrated with appointment systems so the bot can hand off directly to human providers.
- Persisted conversations and user context in MongoDB.
