Voice AI

Vextora VoiceDesk

Vextora VoiceDesk is a custom voice product, built around one company's products, policies, language, and service teams. It answers the questions that company has approved, then hands the call to the right person — with a summary — when the request needs judgment or an account action.

Vextora VoiceDesk operations overview for a client support desk

Overview — what the desk is handling

Each workspace is the client's own support desk. Live calls show why someone called, whether VoiceDesk is answering, and when a person has been asked to take over. Handoffs arrive with a summary. Questions the desk could not answer are listed so the client can add an approved reply. Reasons for calling are set per client, not from a generic script.

Vextora VoiceDesk call transcript and handoff summary

Handoff — the person gets the call, not a blank line

The transcript shows what VoiceDesk already asked and which company policy it used. The summary says why it stopped, what the caller wants, and the next step for the team. Payment and refund actions stay with a person. The agent does not move money.

Vextora VoiceDesk routing rules for a client

Routing — the client decides what VoiceDesk may answer

Reasons for calling, example phrases, and the destination team are the client's rules. Some intents are answered from their knowledge. Others hand off with a summary. Overrides cover a request for a person, a failed identity check, low confidence, and an upset caller.

Vextora VoiceDesk Urdu call transcript and translated handoff summary

Language — the call stays in the caller's language

VoiceDesk can take the call in Urdu and hand the team a translated summary. The transcript keeps the caller's words. Warranty and visit rules still come from that client's knowledge, and an upset caller is routed to a person.

The challenge

  • General call centres spend significant time repeating answers to the same product, policy, and service questions.
  • Customers expect fast, conversational answers without navigating long menu trees.
  • A useful voice agent must stay grounded in approved company information rather than improvise responses.
  • Automation still needs clear escalation paths for sensitive, complex, or account-specific requests.

Our solution

  • Connected speech recognition, a company knowledge layer, and natural voice synthesis into one low-friction call flow.
  • Structured company content for grounded retrieval so answers come from approved business information.
  • Designed intent-aware conversations that ask clarifying questions instead of forcing callers through rigid menus.
  • Added human handoff rules for unresolved, sensitive, or transactional requests.
  • Captured conversation summaries and outcomes so support teams receive context when a call is escalated.
